- Is KidCall available today?
- Not yet. This is exactly what happened to us on Friday, July 31st, in Rhodes, Greece. In just one month, we found the factory to produce it, built the prototype, and created the company — and we're now starting our growth to help billions of families around the world.
- Who is KidCall for?
- Kids and teens from 2 to 18. For little ones, it is one big button to reach Mom or Dad. For older kids and teens, it is a way to stay connected without a smartphone (the first walk to school, practice, a day out with friends) with two-way voice and live GPS, and no screen, apps or social media.
- When will it launch?
- We are targeting first shipments to Founding Families after engineering validation is complete. Everyone on the waitlist gets the schedule before it is public.
- Will it work worldwide?
- The first release focuses on the USA, home to more than 80 million children, where our cellular partners and regulatory work are furthest along. Alongside that, we're developing Starlink connectivity to bring coverage anywhere in the world — even on a cruise ship.
- How much will it cost?
- Pricing is not final. Founding Families will see it first and will receive a permanent discount on the connectivity plan.
- How long does the battery last?
- We are targeting several days of everyday use per charge, with a protected reserve so an SOS can still be sent at low battery.
- How does SOS work?
- Your child holds the button. The band calls your chosen contacts in order and shares live GPS at the same moment, so you can talk and move at once.
